Envelope provides a secure process for wire transfers, available to qualified users. Below are detailed instructions, including the required information, eligibility, and limits.
How to Request a Wire Transfer
Message Support: Log in to your Envelope app, navigate to the "Support" section, and select "Message Support." Indicate that you want to initiate a wire transfer.
Provide Required Information: Include the following details in your message to start the process.
- Recipient's Full Name
- Recipient's Account Number
- Bank Name
- Bank Routing Number
- Bank Address (street, city, state, and ZIP code)
- Transfer Amount
- Purpose of the Wire (optional but recommended)
3. Phone Verification: Once we receive your request, Envelope Support will call you directly to confirm your identity and validate the wire request.
Wire Transfer Limits, Rules, and Exceptions
Daily Limit: $25,000 per account
Monthly Limit: $100,000 per account
*Exceptions: If you need to transfer a higher amount, your request may be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis by our banking partner, Pacific West Bank.
Wire transfers are not instantaneous, so please reach out with your request as soon as you have details for your payment. There will be delay of up to one business day for review, verification and processing. Wire transfers are limited to domestic destinations within the United States.
